IMPERFECT STRANGER
In the vast
strange funny world,
guess who i
met with.
The stars and
the clouds,
they were
following me
around everywhere
and anywhere,
as if spying
on me and
at the same
time guiding me.
I am the
imperfect stranger
and i just
wondered how
much i'm loved
by this power
stronger than me.
My vulnerability
they sense from afar.
With my follies,
how come
i'm still standing,
without being
struck down by
their wrath.
I must be
important that
they are indeed
mindful of me.
Peeping through
the shadows
of the trees,
they all listen
to the silence
of my thoughts.
Even the tree
i leaned on
whispers into
my ears the
things i should do.
All warning me
that i have go
because of the
dark hours
coming soon.
When the night
creatures come
out to hunt.
Forbid it i
should become food
for the one
stronger than me.
I sauntered away
towards the safety
of my home.
