Remember me
When I'm gone
For it won't be long now
In the blink of an eye
In the fading of sound
Can it be taken back
Can the reverie end
The unending can make
The once living
Be dead
And to be among them
Countless souls
Of no homes
With no place
Occupying
No spatial
Awareness
What use then
This consciousness
Vessel
To bear it
What we can not help
But consider
Nor save
From the imminent
Passing of time
To the grave
