Everything will be okay but I won’t tell you to pray
cause that’s the same thing they all say
when they don’t have the time of day
to hear your tears or save the day
being that they don’t understand
why depression is hard to shake
so they pretend to relate
to why you’re trapped in self hate
& why self harm is all you contemplate
but what I really wanna say
is that I’m here any time of day
for as long as I’m alive, everything will be okay
