Poems
Mar 2019
in a small town: something must be bigger than this
life was young
and chaotic
there was no
purpose to me
or anyone else
around me
so I left the
house early
searching the
whole earth
for one truth
to hold me
with sunflower stars
lighting my way
I hid my lonely heart
in those wild fields
singing the song
of the honey bees
searching for
nourishment
******* on
all the honey
hidden in the wild trees
