Love
Love is a tricky word
It gets thrown around left and right
Does anyone know what love really feels like
Maybe when you can’t imagine your life without that person
Maybe when you catch yourself thinking about them
Can it be when you are daydreaming about them
Love is much more than a middle school crush
Love is delicate
Fragile
Can we ever tell when we are in love
“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams” - Dr. Suess
Many people study love
Write about it
We can only hope that they are only writing our future lives
It seems that is never the case
Little girls hoping Prince Charming comes knocking on their door with a glass slipper
It seems that is never the case
No one can predict our futures
No one can write them
Except ourselves
We can write our love stories however we want
This time it will be non-fiction
This time it will be real
It should be more than just saying you love them
It should be real
We fall in love with the idea of love
We focus on trying to fall in love
By the time Prince Charming is knocking,
    We are blinded by thought
