Poems
Mar 2019
girl
you were
little not small
you knew more
than you
should have
you were
filled with
feelings
like me
you knew
something
was missing
death entered
early
taking from us
too much
too soon
the gaps were
too large
for us to leap
so we fell
into each other
and now
almost a
grown up
when I
think
for more than
a moment
and I feel too much
I think of you
you were the
first soft thing
I ever knew
