Don’t look at me you seen to much already,
You learn to learn but can’t learn that Love is to heavy
And yet I run to you like there was something else to say..
If you wanted to leave I’ve made my bed in the driveway.
From past Goodbyes I sit and wait.
You take my hand upstairs and say “Rest...sleep”

Something you can never do alone,
As I wrap my arms around you you say
“Goodnight”
And I whisper
“You will never be alone”

....Rest
....sleep
It looks better on you then me.
