Sitting beneath the trees in silence,
watching the sun slowly sink behind the mountain.
The sky turns all sorts of colors.
Pink. Orange. Purple.
The longer I sit, the more the colors fade away.
Then, there's just a black sky above me.
Tiny stars begin to pop up here and there.
More and more every second.
Suddenly the sky is filled with millions of beautiful lights.
A tear rolls over my cheek; yet
I still smile.
Because I know  you're up there in the stars.
Watching over me.
My guardian angel.
I wish you could be here,
but I find comfort in knowing you're always there.
Among the stars.
