I could sit

on this beach

with you

till eternity

tires and

makes it

way to

weary rest.

we could

drink coffee

between friends

and spin

and toss

a midnight

naked tale

or too.

and truth

and honesty

would bathe

us and

patience and

friendship

would take

us gently

by the

hand,

just as if it

had been waiting

for us here

for a life

time.

or if

this moment

as all

we have

look

into your

eyes and

forget all

else,

and you

would be

well with

me,

and I would

be your

caretaker

at your

side.

and nothing

else

would matter,

but this

single star

I see in

the sky

tonight.
