electric Red
I am alone tonight
like most nights
the wind howls
changing into a wolf
I leave my house
to walk
just to walk
loose things move
through the street
trying to block me
or lead me
I end up
somewhere
dark and loud
the skinny ghosts dance
moving into and out of
each other
beginnings and
endings disappear
there are only
moments bleeding
into each other
she walks next
to me
close to me
against me
she is electric
not like lightning
or electrocution
more like static
the sparks that
communicate a
connection
the sparks that scare
without too much harm
at first
