You’re a beautiful mistake
that was created to create. The chromosomes
didn’t line up. Finally, you stopped trying
to be as the others. When you let go

the force is strong enough to turn your tears
into a river churning with rapids. It’s a wild
ride. You could fall off the sides. You know you
would drown in the water. It takes all for you

to muster the strength when you can’t see ahead
and you’re out in the middle of nowhere. The uncertainty
itself is a thrill that propels you at will, as it did
all the others before you.
