I’m blissfully aware of the beauty
That tumbles from the sky
Heavy drops of liquid rain
Make me want to cry
I’m fully in tune with nature
From the trees to a buzzing bee
As a wave crashes across a rock
A chrysalis sets a butterfly free
I absorb the heat from the sun
As it’s rays unravel my skin
Making the pale to red
On the vessel that my bones are in
And lastly I ponder the stars
That sparkle and burn in the night
Shooting and fizzing through the dark
They leave my head in wonder and delight
