Irrelevant, everything
Soulless, lifeless, empty-bodied
Creatures pass me every day
Knowing each and every one
Only to remain strangers
Shuffling down the hall
Swift footsteps and gossip
Drowning out our ever-changing world
Similar questions are all we have in common
Who will you be, what will I do
Where am I going?
Only time will reveal our desired answers
Everlasting is not the case
For, time runs out.
