Law exists for various reasons and rightly so.
Nothing against victims of any crime.
But many when offered ways to prosecute some don't.

Wait!
Some need time to recover from the crime that drastically brought pain to them.
Others just work under this disguise of not wanting to prosecute the criminal.
Essentially, letting the master of your pain travel on hurting another.

But the stature of limitation works toward protecting the ones accused.
Why?
After twenty-something years they man/female facing criminal charges that many could have level years ago.

The strongest soul you'll find?
Is the power of one voice that stood up.
They needed no numbers to charge anyone.
No support movement to bring charges as a victim.

People, says it's power in numbers but only when you have truth to support that point.
For too much time passing can ease support for many victims.
When others rightly so says, why wait so long?
