Sometimes, we put our shields down
To give our sore arms a break
It was just for a second
or even for an hour
maybe it was just to pick up that flower

you’re in control but the negativity
is choosing the path you need to take
maybe for your own good
we do stuff out of intuition right?
or is it because we feel that negativity is bigger than us?

anxiety is within the breach of us, it is a nothing
someone asked, “how would anxiety look like if you were face to face with it”
It’s a void of darkness, we live in darkness,
light’s are just for the pleasure of seeing
anxiety is darkness: that drains out the colours in us, meaning it is a nothing
it’s way smaller than us
so the question is, why do we make it look like it’s bigger than us?

Being defeated just means you’re closer to knowing how to take control rather than being controlled. Being able to see colour from being colourblind. Defeat doesn’t mean the end, it’s the meaning of better wars to fight.
