One
Found the verbs and destroyed them.
Now words couldn't and wouldn't
Describe or decide
Who we are and the choices that could break us apart
It can only be felt
Between you and I
Our souls as they intertwine
Yellow grass grows
Blue trees burst
Blue vines that you and I climb
In hopes of finding
Who we truly are
We arrive to the top
To find nothing here
So I pull out a flower
And say
My darling there is nothing to fear
Beauty is in us all
Like a flower
We have been our true self's all along
