she was real
I was always parts
of others
held together
with white glue
sticky not strong
not strong enough
to stand on my own
I met her
by accident
she opened herself
and spoke to me
with her soul
soft words
that I could hold
within me
soft words
that did not
damage me
alien words
that let me breathe
alien words
that created
more space
than they
occupied
freeing me
to become
