when i was young
i used to love the idea of storytelling
in fact i told a few of my own

but all of the lies
caught up to me eventually
and out of those tall tales i've grown

sure you can trick em
a good couple times
but then they will get sick of the joke

why would
anybody laugh at a punchline
that they already know
