Now, they have shattered my world and
slashed it with a whirling sledgehammer,
ragged and craggy, saggy and cracking,
smashing and bashing, brutal *******
blasting my thoughts and feelings inside
inner realms.  They wanted me to suffer
and feel the booming bazookas and
raging grenades, atomic bombs and
exploding flamethrowers.  Merciless
metaphors scream my name, pounding
inside my moments in time, smothering
my life and laughing in the horizon, as I
lay on the hardened ground writhing in pain,
dead beats scattered in the air.
