The Final Hour
In playing chess with death
Keep your visions in check
Scream to the high heavens
And get a moral bellyache
Serpents flutter in the sky
Dragons from another planet
Their song like fire spewed
And everyone loves their tune
A juggler’s ball
Suspended in midair
Death disguised as priest
Your confession he bears
The mustard seed moved the mountain
But my mountain is a demon who won’t budge
I’m in need of a miracle lever
That’s as silent as a heart’s grudge
