Poems
Jan 2019
dying near the sea
incomprehensibilitas, my watchword
for today
pondering imponderables
things which words can’t say
like loves which last a lifetime
trillions and trillions of stars
exoplanets, perhaps aliens,
this transient Earth of ours
the smile in her beautiful face
brown hair down to her back
the hopes I have, the fears as well,
gifts I know I lack
so tonight when I am leaving work
I’ll wander silently
think of the ones I’ve tried to love
and dream of dying near the sea.
