wrote a poem then I deleted it
Turned it to a song, - lyrics and beat didn't match
Ran out of ideas, creat - ivity blur
I'd call but "Pride" said don't tell him how you feel
And if he felt it too he'd put you on the line first
Butterflies are rare but in my stomach there's plenty
An athletic heartbeat- can you feel it racing?
Promise to catch my spark, Promise to be my star
Shine your light on me when it get's too dark, when days get tough, and it no longer feels like a walk in the park
I said Promise to catch my spark and Promise to be my star
Sit and wonder till you can wonder no more
Cos here in my heart lies a place you can always call home
I don't know what the feeling's called but I know your name is "crush"
