Finding a metaphor of life
so many have tried
I'll just call it a burning fire
that goes extinct when I have died--

until then, its flame I'll carry*
through my torch and won't set it aside
my heart shall be a boiling cauldron
to an erupting volcano in kinship allied.
* a tinge of William Blake's immortal poem JERUSALEM
