Jan 2019
looking out through a sea of disenchantment
her heart is breaking and his breath is labored
she cries softly into the ear of night
and though night whispers that everything will be alright
in this moment all is lost and nothing gained
all is a cost and nothing is the same
the piercing point has hit its mark
and our sky has grown bitter and dark
as justice requires virtue and courage
our faith is kindled solely by our spirit
