I’m not changing anything this year
That’s my resolution
I’m letting go of taking control
Seeking an informal absolution
I’m letting me forgive myself
And letting the world forgive me
I’m not following any direction
From the wrong energy

I’m letting my journey
Unfold like a letter
Knowing the story
Will only get better

The lines are written in invisible ink
More will be revealed
I will change when I can turn the page
And rest to best be healed
