Dec 2018
The daylight
broken.

your heart
lying still
under a
cellophane
skin,

waiting
patiently
for me
to unwrap
it.

from afar.

a picture
in my
head
of someone
that you
might
be.

sundial
wishes
and deep

open
mouth
kisses.

parades
celebrated
without
reason,

racing
across
skies,

just at
the thought
of seeing
you in

a dream

again.

shared
breaths
giving
life
to one
another.

dangling
whispers
heard
deep under

silk covers
in the
night.

only
by those
who
strive
to truly
hear
them.

unafraid
to harvest.

to give
mercy.

to give
tenderness
to this

night.
