Cigarette butts rest in the guts of who we once were
Young to love
But not too young to feel pain
The pain of knowing
We killed this long before we could save it
and now we live day by day
As corpses consumed by the
Death of a love so real and so sweet
It rotted us from the inside out
Didn’t you know
Sugar gives you cavities
