Am I
A hated memory?
Or nothing at all?
Just feeling guilty
For not feeling guilty anymore.
If this burden was dropped,
It'd surely return.
From the hands of an old stranger
On an unremarkable day.
So I keep it in me,
Or at least in sight.
Because those who don't forget
Will never be reminded.
