When I
When I stand before God
may I never have regrets
that I've never tried to do
my best.
Roads have many bends
mountains to climb above
clouds filled with doubt
and fear.
Dawn bringing hope
sunsets dance in grace
before darkness appears
across weary minds.
Diamonds bring promise
of another day loving
brightly, in skies above
in these uncertain times
we share.
When I stand before God
may I be an angel to guide
another to love with all their
heart.
Life is not only learning
how to love oneself, we
shine our light from within.
