i looked out my window on a christmas night
the snow was falling gently pure and so white
i looked in t he sky and saw a star so bright
shining down on me on this holy night.

children having fun playing in the snow
warmed my soul inside gave my heart a glow
carol singers singing with there christmas tune
i sat there and listened as they began to croon

time for peace on earth for the whole of all mankind
christmas in there soul with troubles left behind
time for everyone to hold each other tight
lets celebrate together on this christmas night
