The Scarecrow
Life lies lacking love
deep inside the untouchable space
Vulnerable to anything but a dove
that keeps hovering to see your face
Nothing is what you have inside
nothing you are and empty is your core
Come by my side
and I wonβt ask for more
For I need someone or something
to let me know Iβm not the only one
who found his purpose in finding
an endless task to be done
Oh helpless lonely scarecrow
scaring many but scared of none
Cause everything I know
is that I dread one
One whisper that can make me fall
or send me high to fly
And amongst the birds I call
for you with a cry till I die
Crucified and smiling, me too
Standing there with nothing to do
Oh scarecrow lucky you
And lucky are all who around you flew
Cause you still lift your head high
Suffering never lasts after all
to anyone but I
who in summer waiting for the snowfall
