Nov 2018
The moon cradled in its throne
The leaves scatter and crackle
Like the bite of winter’s reprise
Alas, light twinkling
Rectangular scores of color
~oranges and yellows,
Faint and rich
The city is an ocean of light
Alive and swimming
Like the scales of a
Glittering fish
