I am currently watching
and listening to someone
who is wishing to die.
Aged 95 with an unresolved
family issue, that she will
take to her watery Irish grave.
From a beach, combers wait
the doomed destiny of this
vessel in distress.
Family squabbles over wills or
wants, the spoils of a low water
mark, to be left by her ebbing tide.
