Catching the moon making a wish
just to see it close in, to give
me a thrill of something new.

They say! what we believe in, is true
because it was created from us to
make it become a reality.

The other night I saw a falling star
what a happy thought I had, has
it disappeared out of site.

Grandma always told me the beauty
of life was what we shared, not what
we wanted that sparkled.

Now when I see the light of the full
moon, it has a new story to tell me
each month to store away in my
diary.
