I sit.

catching
every
glimpse
in your
eyes.

I feel
rich.

holding
out for
this moment
to never
end.

when the
times
of a
child"s
daydreams
are
over,

and the
tears
of circus
clowns
are long
forgotten.

I sit.

a thousand
miles
away
from you.

unannounced,
rectified.

to your
life and
all it's
trimmings
of faith
and hope.

and day
dreams you
once had
as a
child
escape me.

but still
beckon me
to chase
them down

to find

your treasures

of heart

buried under

some distant
sandy beach,

I know
not where..

but I
resist
temptation.
to find
their end.

because
I don't
want
this moment
to end.

to sit
and catch
every glimpse
in your
eyes,

and in
my life
to never
want
anything

more.
