Nov 2018
All lips and hips
He shook it down
He took us out
As we all rode the mystery train
One long shout
Filled with vigor, imagination
All about
Rambunctious earthiness
And sweet desire
It’s what we deserved
Together, we built the fire

All hail to the King
And that leather suit he wore
On the Comeback Special
What’s more
Is the legacy
Never will it die
That magic music
Still shaking our insides

So it is with appreciation and fondness
Deep inside my heart
I give tribute from this earnest fan
Who gave us its start
Rock and roll is still here to stay
I know you understand
On top of that I hear
He was a very nice man
