It’s Christmas Eve and I can hear
the heavy snow falling outside
on my rooftop.  I sit beside
my love on the sofa and listen
to Christmas music, holiday
happiness filling our spirits
on this beautiful night.  As
we breathe in Carla Thomas’s
song, Gee **** its Christmas,
soft vibrant sounds melting
our hearts on this magical
enchantment, our eyes rise
to every uplifting moment.
And as I gaze at your perfection,
brown-skinned attraction
gracefully glowing in the
perfect light, my heart falls
deeper in love with you.
I never want these moments
to end.  The sweet conversations
over a glass of eggnog and
champagne.  The giggles
that come every now and
then throughout the night.
The romantic kisses that
unites us as a glorious nation.
