PLEAD I, TO THEE

(Inspired after watching a song from the Roman Holiday).

So pleads a young maiden, to her lover boy.
All she seeks from him are moments of true joy.

"May I request you for a favour, to lessen my strife.
Give me, o give me, just a day from your life.
I will thereafter most unwillingly bid you a good bye.
Treasure every moment of this day I will, till I die.
Precious will that day be, when we can sing, dance n play.
Through out my life, cherish I will, this most wonderful day.
Dreamt I have about this day, n for it, yearned since years.
Sing for my heart not just my ears; my most favourite songs.
Love me with all your heart and soul, all day and all night long.
See you I may never again in life, but memories of you will last for ever.
O darling, o dearest, our love so true and divine; we won't sever.
