Nov 2018
Xmas is coming
Let’s roll out some cheer
For the little baby boy
And his parents so dear

And let’s have a drink
To a season that’s merry
With gifts and much fun
And mistletoe and berry

Of course, I am Jewish
And don’t partake in the fun
We light candles for eight nights
And gifts, we get none

We do eat some latkes
From potatoes they are made
If the holiday starts on Saturday
Then our bread will have a braid

So I wish you so many
A happy season filled with joy
And if your vegan and have no meat
Then may your turkey be of soy

And with family and friends
May you celebrate with love
Hunkered in for the holidays
With fulfillment from above
