i'll continue to plaster

these cracks--

like wise walls in

The Old Country.

as bees subscribe to

flowers cooking on a

veranda...i fan myself

with your gratis scent.

till your sigh's signature

opens my ears.

can you keep pace with

this kind of belief?

i keep drifting thruΒ your

room chain-smoking my

ghost.
