As I sit outside watching the blue skies
and peaceful clouds hang in the horizon,
sweet smells of pure freedom, the stark
sun beaming down upon my bronze
body, thoughts of you sway inside
my mind.  And as I write these words
my love, I want you to know that I mean
everything that I say.  When we first
fell in love, the majestic mountains
rising above our sparkling hearts,
beautiful butterflies hovering in
our sight, bluebirds singing in
sweet delight, we knew that the
love we had for each other was
eternal and complete.  We chased
after the moon and stars, every
poetic beauty a brilliant brushstroke
of perfection.  Most nights we would
sit on the deep black sand and watch
the waves ignite bursting beats upon
the soles of our feet, every single shift
sparking our hearts.  And as I write
these words, I want you to know that
you mean the world to me.  You are
my sweet escape.
