I was at war with myself
I could feel the inner existence
of my creation clashing with the
outer existence of my kingdom,
massive explosions erupting
inside my brain, hyper
volcanoes rising and flaming,
collapsing and shifting under
lifeless seas, sunken illusions,
crazed dreams, empty shadows
suspended in darkness, departed
depictions, abstract realities,
blackened bridges, burning
proximities, toxic chemistry,
a splitting scar soaked in
slippery tar, diminishing
in crippling stages.
