It was spring and I was sitting on the grass
When someone sat in front of me, a Bonnie lass
Her brown hair was moving by the wind
I took a deep breathe and I smelled fresh mint
I stood up and walked to her, but my body froze
I had many shivers from my head all the way to my toes
Was I scared of asking her or was I scared of things in the past
Oh I want you, my Bonnie, Bonnie lass
Scottish poem.... just because of the Bonnie lass
