Untitled #26
and that was how you left
the lights were still on and the
bed left unmade while the tv
played reruns of some old show
in the background your clothes
scattered the ground like leaves
in autumn and now I realize that's
how you wanted to leave like you
never left
but you did
and you haven't been back since
