A song she sings
Her ominous lullaby
A cry she sings
As her last Goodbye.
From her life’s complexity,
From all of life’s gifts
A song she sings.
Her sorrowful melody,
A laugh she cries ,
Her tears a fallacy
Dreading the rain of the sun.
She hides in her walls
Of hope and trust
Hiding sadness and sorrow
Yet she only sings,
She sings her songs
Of once upon a time.
Her fairytale she cries
Her walls becoming
None other than her book
filled with her night’s lullaby
finally closing her eyes
finding comfort in her fairytale
whispering her Goodbye
