From This World You Help Me Hide
When I find the door is creaking
And the walls are closing in
Right away you know the meaning
And you take a hold my hand
You lead me to that wanting place
At night by candlelight
Away from the frantic pace
From this world, you help me hide
When there's a crease inside my attitude
Calloused in its form
Unknowingly it calls out to you
For the comfort of your warmth
Lifting me so gently
From the troubles of this life
You are my shelter, you are my keep
From this world, you help me hide
When the air I breathe gets too much for me
And the atmosphere is torn
You hold me tight in the belief
That this won't fray the cord
If you ask me I feel I'm squeezed
By all of its might
That is why in truth I need
From this world, you help me hide
