the first word I said to you was ****
the last word you said to me was you
I remember the red hue of your room when I first held you
I remember the blue hue of my room where you held me
Now I can't rest in my bed without you
You were the reason I got out of bed to make that bread
The feeling of your head on my chest was the best
I can't even be mad at you even though I'm so sad
I felt happy for the first time in years
Now all I have is fears and tears
All I want for you is the best
All I want to do is rest
the first word I said to you was ****
the last word you said to me was you
now I wish the word I said was love
To want love and all of its burdens
