I talk to myself,
Consistently I might add,
And I dunno about you,
But I’m the best friend I’ve ever had.

My conversations are good fun,
The best I’ve had all day,
And I know I’ll always be there,
When I have something to say.

I talk about my feelings,
And my thoughts out loud,
I’ll talk to myself in private,
Or even in a crowd.

I don’t know what it means,
If I’m lone or depressed,
If you have any idea,
Come and be my guest.

To all the people that talk to themselves,
I think it’s perfectly fine,
You can be your own best friend,
And I can be mine.
