People show their hurt in too many ways
to take offense is only building a wall
Wounding yourself from the inside out
In this world, there are too many ways
to shadow and disguise
So many tones and looks for “I'm fine.”

Support is not a push
Support is not a shove
It gently keeps you lifted
Holds you up
When you thought
There was nothing left
But to fall

Is Love the tame flames that flicker in the dead of a calm
Winter's Night?
The serene landscape of the untouched snow
Leaves no need for barriers of the fire
And all who gather forget the past and future
Only live for the moment of they require

Support is not a push
Support is not a shove
It gently keeps you lifted
Holds you up
When you thought
There was nothing left
But to fall

People show their hurt in too many ways
to take offense is only building a wall
Wounding yourself from the inside out
People show their Love in one way
They stay.
No need for the tones and looks of “I'm fine.”
