Inside of a Rose
When I rise to the rays of the sun
And stand tall through the shadows of the thick bushes
You marvel at my beauty
You fall in love with my fragrance
How I wish you looked at me differently
And understand why IΒ grow thicker thorns
Far too many times I'd watch my petals fall
Through the rainy nights with the greatest storms
I picked my self up and grew again, rose again
I learnt that I must wither and fall before I bloom again
And fill the earth with my radiant essence
